How CentSheet articles are made. Research and drafting at CentSheet are done with the assistance of AI tools; every article is then edited, fact-checked, and approved for publication by a named human editor, who is accountable for its contents. Nothing publishes without human review. We disclose this because our readers’ trust is the entire product.
Numbers policy. Financial figures fall into two classes here:
- Computed figures (payoff timelines, compound growth, amortization) are generated
- External figures (rates, contribution limits, tax thresholds) carry a source and
by our own calculators and verified against closed-form formulas before publication.
a date, and are reviewed at least annually. If a figure has no date next to it and isn’t pure arithmetic, that’s a defect — report it.
What we never publish: stock picks, price predictions, “guaranteed” returns, sponsored content presented as editorial, or advice tailored to an individual.
Corrections. When we get something wrong, we fix the article and note the correction at the bottom of the page with a date. Material errors (a wrong number that could change a reader’s decision) are corrected within 48 hours of verification. Report errors via the contact page.
Affiliate independence. Some articles may contain affiliate links (see our affiliate disclosure). Compensation never determines whether a product is mentioned or how it is evaluated, and we do not accept payment for coverage or rankings.
